Q: We are planning a special occasion and your Buffet Menu is perfect, but we really would like to have the meal hand served on “real” plates and with “real” silverware.  Can you still work with us for such an event?

A: Of course we can!  Simply Southern Catering has everything you need for your special occasions.  Our china and silverware, glasses, cups, etc. are available to rent for your event.  We will submit an Event Proposal to you so that you can see a detailed listing of each and every charge for that level of service.

Q: We’ve had things catered before by another caterer and the price they gave us did not match the total we were charged.  We are almost afraid to have anything catered again for fear of the surprise charges that we might experience.  Does Simply Southern do business that way, too?

A: No.  Our Event Proposals are designed to eliminate the “sticker shock” that you are describing; the final quote you receive from us will be the price you pay for our services.  While we are in business to keep our books operating in the black, we prefer to remain true to our goals of providing our service with honesty and integrity and developing long relationships with our treasured customers.

Q: How far will Simply Southern Catering travel to cater an event?

A: Our commercial kitchen is located in Ellisville, in South Central Mississippi.  So far, we have catered events in Gulfport, Biloxi, McComb and Jackson, and we are looking forward to serving in those locations in the future.  Give us a call and we will discuss your specific event… at Simply Southern Catering we stay ready for a “road trip”.

Q: We want to have an event catered but we are struggling to find a place to have it.  Can you help us find a location?

A: We’d love to help!  There are several venues in our area who are delighted to work with Simply Southern Catering.  We have built up a positive reputation for taking care of our venues and making referrals to them.  Most venues require state and/or local licensing to be placed on their list of approved caterers; Simply Southern Catering will gladly supply our licensing information and proof of insurance to your venue upon request.
