Formerly a hospice nurse in Oklahoma, our owner, Rhonda Walters has effectively taken her God given gift of caring for the needs of others and used them to create one of the finest catering companies in South Mississippi.  Not only do Simply Southern customers enjoy the finest food around, they are truly “spoiled rotten” by the personal attention they receive from Rhonda, our own service professional.      

At Simply Southern Catering we believe that our customers deserve our undivided attention to the details that matter most to them.  We specialize in what we call Full Service Catering, not just food delivery.   Simply Southern Catering has a plan for taking care of business for you.

·    Our customers call when they have an event to plan and we begin communicating clearly with them to understand exactly what their wishes are for the event.  We discuss every detail from the menu to the rentals, from the location of the event to the special needs of the guests, from the budget to the serving staff.

·    After the details of the event are set and the menu is chosen, our customers move on to tending to the other plans they must make for the event.  Simply Southern takes on the responsibility of ordering and preparing the food in our licensed, insured commercial kitchen.

·    We meet with our customers, when needed, to prepare the location for the upcoming event.

·    The safe and timely delivery of our delicious food is a top priority for Simply Southern Catering.  Our customers can rest assured that when we show up with the menu they have ordered that their event will be a huge success.  Our trained staff of service professionals will move quickly to set up the service pieces and food so that our customer can focus on greeting their guests.

·    Our customers are often surprised by the true spirit of service their guests receive from our staff.  Whether we set up a food buffet or hand serve a meal, we literally serve our customers as if they were family! 

·    Finally, no Simply Southern event is finished until the cleaning is done.  We will work to leave our customer’s event at least as clean as we found it.  Our customers are always thrilled to leave the event knowing that Simply Southern Catering has carried out every request with grace and style!
